OCA have expertise in supporting the full range of functions in the WTG package.
Our support services cover transport and installation management of Wind Turbine components from manufacturing and preassembly to offshore completion. We have experience managing WTG suppliers, installation contractors, service providers and vessel operators and are familiar with the interfaces and specific risks for WTG T&I scope.
We have expertise covering the associated functions supporting the WTG package including operations and maintenance, quality, HSE, procurement and contract management. Furthermore, we understand the risks and opportunities resulting from the port, marine and logistics setup for the project and can assess port requirements, vessel technical data (SOV, CTV, WIV), component delivery and preassembly strategies, weather downtime prediction and make recommendations depending on the client’s preferred solution.
OCA’s team are experienced in managing geotechnical risks associated with jack up vessel operation – including leg penetration analysis and boulder risk assessment. These competencies combine to allow us to cover the full site geotechnical assessment for all packages.
