We are delighted to announce that we’re expanding our operations in the US with new offices opening in both New Bedford, Massachusetts and Charleston, South Carolina.
New Bedford continues to accelerate as an essential hub for the east coast offshore wind industry. The city currently serves as an operational base for the construction of the first full-scale offshore wind project in the US as well as base for various other campaigns conducted in development of future projects. Establishing an office in New Bedford allows us to work closely with our clients at integral stages of their projects while being part of a growing industry and economy.
In addition, the new OCA South Carolina office opened this month. Having been operating in the area remotely for the past 18 months, the office solidifies our presence in the Carolinas and positions the business for further growth in the southeast region of the country. BOEM’s recent successful lease auction for two areas in Carolina Long Bay is likely to be the first of many new projects along the southeast coast of the US and a physical presence in the region will provide a more in-depth understanding of this area and its stakeholders and will help our team to support clients locally in the area.
