Aim
TK Operations team had to stabilise all CPS units across the operational windfarm. The design, procurement and offshore installation of the works all had to be completed in accordance with the UK's CDM regulations, with a limited lead time and utilising a vessel with a fixed window of availability.
Outcome
OCA's services resulted in a project with no injuries and no accidents, where budget and timeline constraints were met, and all available assets were stabilised during the window of vessel availability. This included CDM Regulation Compliance working around operational assets (live cables and WTGs) and working within area actively being fished. This resulted in positive C-Suite feedback for Client's staff.
How did OCA get this result?
OCA provided expert PM services, managing multiple internal and external project stakeholders, including RWE central engineering, fisheries, consenting and resource management teams, in addition to the main Contractor. Works were managed using a PMI framework. OCA utilised Microsoft Planner and the Client's existing IT suite, minimising communication friction and maximising productivity in reporting to Client management. OCA fast track procured multiple external resources including MWS & Client Representatives, and led the Safety Walk at the Installation Vessel.
