On August 18th at 12pm (US EDT), OCA’s US Vice President and Lead Consultant, Martin Christensen, and Senior Consultant, Stephen Doran, will be presenting for the Boston Society of Civil Engineers online event, “COPRI 2021 Offshore Wind Event Series: Offshore Wind – An Exciting New Industry for Civil Engineers”.
The presentation will provide a high-level overview of offshore wind and then it will focus on the current state of the US offshore wind market, strategic and site-specific concerns regarding port infrastructure and landfall and onshore engineering. The webinar will finish with an overview of the job opportunities available to Civil Engineers in the industry and a 30-minute Q&A session.
