John O’Malley joins the OCA team with over 15 years’ experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas and Electric Utilities industries. The first 12 years of his career were spent as an engineer on Ultra Deepwater Drilling Vessels managing and supervising numerous preventative and corrective maintenance projects. For the past 4 years, John has worked for the largest Electric Utility in New England, supervising the safe and efficient operation of the power grid. John holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy and a Chief Engineer’s license from the United States Coast Guard. This latest addition to the US team will expand the number of projects OCA can undertake and bring further expertise in onshore and offshore substations, cabling, commissioning and testing operations and health and safety requirements.
