Aim
Provide conceptual new build pier arrangements at confidential brownfield USA manufacturing facility for multiple WTG component sizes, including layout drawings and ground bearing calculations.
Outcome
Project engineering services including production of engineering calculations and drawings not available to client in-house.
How did OCA get this result?
Port layout drawings to WTG OEM Construction Bid Management team for 15MW WTG component delivery and marshalling at two East Coast US marine terminals. Ground bearing pressure calculations were completed for crawler crane load-in, load-out & upland lifting and Self-Propelled Modular Transport (SPMT) marshalling of WTG components at both East Coast US marine terminals. Use of experience of OCA European teams supporting local US resources.
